It's the End of the Pandemic (As We Know It)
And I Don't Feel Fine
The world is slowly opening up, and the return to "normal" doesn't feel quite normal, does it? The boundaries we've had with each other may have shifted over the course of this past year. Many folks are getting vaccinated, and some aren't.
On the surface, things are getting better, but underneath, many people are feeling anxiety, grief or unexpected anger. There’s so much pain about what we have lost over the past year, and it can be overwhelming to think about what’s next.
Maybe you feel like you “should” feel lucky. Maybe you don’t know what to do with all the feelings you have about the world opening back up. Maybe you’ve started sentences with "I know things are getting better, but..." Maybe all this talk about "normal" has you feeling a prickly as a pineapple.
If so, this recorded class is for you.
In this two-hour discussion and workshop, we explore how to:
- Process the grief and loss of the past year-plus
- Notice the habits and practices you DO want to keep and make sure that happens
- Remember what used to bring you joy and re-incorporate it into your life
- Clarify and communicate your boundaries in this newly-changing world
- What respecting your needs looks like, practically speaking, as things change
- Put together a post-pandemic life that works for you
You’ll also get a beautiful list of journaling/reflection prompts to further clarify your pandemic experience and uncover what you want going forward, and a list of supporting resources. You can listen or watch the class as many times as you like.
