Getting Your Touch Needs Met While Distancing

an interactive self-discovery workshop

For many of us, touch is a core need, a way to feel loved, and an important way to feel connected to other people. With social isolation in our near future, how do we get our touch needs met when we’re physically separated from the people we most want to snuggle up with?

In this two-hour, experiential online workshop, we identify what touch means to you, distinguish between touching and being touched and the benefits of each, and experiment with a wide array of sensual tools that are available to you at home. You'll learn ways to feel physically connected while you are apart, and share with others who yearn for touch during this time.

This is NOT a talking-head class, but rather a recording of an experimental and experiential at-home workshop that you can play along with.

While nothing can match the feeling of feeling close to another human, you’ll leave this workshop with a felt sense of the kinds of sensations that are physically comforting to you, tools for feeling sensorily stimulated, and practices to access the benefits of touch even when you are alone.

Together, we explore realms of touch that will soothe your system and make your connections with others even sweeter once you are back together.
