Asking For It
October 29th - November 19th
So you’ve been learning about your boundaries and discovering your limits…
Or you’ve been trying to notice your preferences and desires in everyday life…
Or you’re starting to think about what you really want in bed…
But how the heck do you TALK about it?!
Communicating your boundaries, limits, needs and desires isn’t always easy, but it doesn’t have to be so hard.
That's where ASKING FOR IT comes in...
In this four-week virtual course, you’ll learn practical skills to:
- Communicate boundaries and limits so they are clear and easily respected
- Ask for what you want in your relationships so that you’re more likely to get it
- Untangle confusing desires so you can make clear asks
- Sort what you actually want from what you are willing to do or would be okay for you
- Share your desires around vulnerable topics like sex and relationships
- Negotiate clearly and in good faith
You’ll also learn simple scripts to make it easy to ask (and what you should never ask for), why we don’t ask (and what we do instead), and the three things you can always request when you don’t know what you want or need.
You’ll get useful distinctions, practical skills and an opportunity to practice with other people doing the same.
Course Dates:
- Tuesday October 29th
